Head of Sales (EMEA)

We are looking for a high-energy Head of Sales EMEA with a solid technology business-to-business sales experience. Our Head of Sales EMEA will lead and manage the regional sales organization and will be accountable for growing the enterprise business and achieving regional revenue and bookings. This position reports to the VP Business Development and is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.


  • Achieve the EMEA sales plan; deliver the regional sales revenue and bookings targets for Europe
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline; nurture a pipeline sufficient to consistently deliver on quarterly and annual booking and revenue targets.
  • Direct management of account executives (4 FTEs); foster a prospecting and hunting culture
  • Direct management of account managers (8 FTEs); drive account retention, renewals, upsells and account growth
  • Sales organization building and development; recruit high-caliber talents, provide day-to-day coaching, provide input to compensation plans, build new lead generation capabilities with sales development reps
  • Deploy sales coverage; work with the VP Business Development to define coverage strategy and deploy the optimal coverage model, including target setting and territory assignments combined with vertical focus
  • Drive effective sales management processes; conduct sales reviews and pipeline management, coordinate all sales activities, deliver performance management and provide accurate forecasts
  • Monthly reporting; prepare and deliver monthly reports on sales activities, pipeline and KPIs for key accounts
  • Create and encourage a winning and competitive sales environment


  • Proven track record of enterprise software sales leadership success; ability to inspire and build a strong and dedicated team; ability to role model selling excellence and discipline; can readily develop executive level relationships with current and prospective customers; ability to navigate and advocate within both SpotMe and the prospect organization to overcome barriers and advance business opportunities
  • Solution offering knowledge & expertise; ability to quickly understand the Event Management and Digital Experience Platforms businesses and their related solutions. Functional knowledge or experience in marketing or learning, and/or industry knowledge or experience in pharma, financial/professional services is a plus
  • 10 years of sales and progressive sales management experience
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills that can impress and influence C-level executives
  • Bilingual English/French or English/German
