Head of Sales EMEA (Lausanne, Switzerland)

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, market development, strategic partnerships or program/product management that relates to event apps, SaaS solutions or similar
  • Exposure to a global company, proven people management and experience in leading large, diverse teams
  • Track record of building rapport with senior customer executives (e.g. VP, CEO, CIO, CTO, CMO), building close relationships, and closing large revenue deals
  • Experience and success in negotiating complex enterprise software deals with customers and partners
  • Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented
  • Strong problem solving and collaboration skills


Lead the EMEA Business Development team 

  • Overall responsibility for new client acquisition; typically 5-8 significant logos per quarter
  • Manage the EMEA Business Development team
  • Support and coach team for face-to-face and online pitches
  • Recruiting, onboarding and training of BDRs and BDMs as per annual hiring plans

Sales management of EMEA sales team 

  • Responsible for the execution of biweekly sales reviews with all Business Development and Program Managers (9 people) and follow-up as per company standards
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and BDs on high-stakes requests for proposals (RFPs) and pitches
  • Work with VP BD for quarterly reviews, targets and commissions/variables for BD team
  • Travel approximately 50% of time
  • English is a must, French and/or German is a plus
