Business Development Representative (Lausanne, Switzerland)

To sustain and accelerate our growth, we are looking to recruit a top class Business Development Representative who will represent and promote our company to new potential customers in a responsive and proactive way. This position will work closely with the Director of Sales. You will responsible for sourcing new revenue-generating opportunities, as well as running business development campaigns. You will receive extensive business development coaching for targeted customer demos and visits, executive-level sales pitches and enterprise proposals. You will be discovering the multi-faceted SpotMe industry solutions, ranging from healthcare to financial services.

In order to gain sufficient product knowledge, live and breathe SpotMe values for meetings and bring thorough expertise to customers, you will be embedded in the SpotMe event production team for an initial 2-month experience. At the same time, you will receive intensive Business Development training from seasoned team members.

This position is meant for candidates with growth perspective, looking to contribute to the success of a fast-growing company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new revenue generating opportunities
  • Executing business development campaigns
  • Deliver winning pitches and demos with prospective clients
  • Consult with clients to understand their business and event strategy
  • Effectively manage stakeholders throughout the sales process to build loyalty and advocacy

Your qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented, a tribute to our Swiss heritage
  • Can-do attitude, curious and self-learner
  • A flair for aesthetics and polished presentation
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, always meet deadlines
  • Efficient with computers, technology and standard software (Powerpoint, Excel, Word). Experience with Salesforce CRM a plus
  • Eligible and motivated to travel internationally approximately 30%-50% monthly
  • Proficient in English and German
